Pelletizer - RVL Arisi

The LR15 Pelletizer offers advanced and versatile solutions for cutting extruded monofilaments of plastic materials, both in the compounding and masterbaches fields. This cutter meets the major cutting specifications required by customers and precisely the possibility of adjusting both the length and the diameter of the granule, obtaining square sizes such as the micro-granule 1x1 mm.

This feature is obtained thanks to the simultaneous adjustment of the cutter speed and that of the drive roller. The ability to adjust the cut of the granule is ensured by a double motorization managed by a control PLC, which allows the synchronization of the two speeds of the cutter and that of the roller.

From the cutter control pulpit it is possible to set the operation of the cutter/feed synchronism both in automatic and manual mode without having to directly intervene on the extruder adjustment parameters.

A mechanical system with a five-position guide roller allows to better convey all the extruded monofilaments to the cutting system while the new low-clearance adjustment unit of the bedknife facilitates the adjustment operations of the bedknife against the cutting cutter.

The LR-15 Pelletizer can be equipped with:

a) cutters in hardened steel, in special high-strength steel with both single and double helix (patented);

b) pressure rollers of various hardness;

c) drive rollers in treated metal and with different knurling according to the plastic material;

To complete the cutter, electrical sockets have been installed which allow the customer to connect machinery and equipment to complete the production cycle (such as, for example, vibrating screen, air knife, bagging scale, wheeled auger, cyclone, marking machine, etc..) .

The LR15-A (Automatic) Pelletizer brings together all the solutions of the simple model integrating a new device that allows the operator to automatically open and close the cutter cover. The device has eliminated the closing knobs that the operator must continually screw and unscrew in order to open the cutter and proceed with the cleaning operations necessary during the color or material change.

The automatic opening system of the cover of the LR15-A pelletizer is patented, and this device can work even in the absence of electricity and compressed air.
